The Fairmont Area Chamber serves as a strong non-profit professional organization whose mission is to promote a healthy business climate through leadership, communication and education for its members in the greater Fairmont area. Our membership is committed to the concept that there is enormous strength in unity and great benefit to be gained in the exchange of information and ideas.
We feel that the membership and the community should view the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce as a valuable part of any business and community strategy. Our goal is to provide improved programs and services to enhance the business climate and community through advocacy, promotion, networking and resources.
Our organization provides a necessary channel through which the business interests of the community can be improved.
So, if you're thinking of joining our chamber, relocating to our area, or just stopping for a visit, the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to feel at home and see what Fairmont has to offer.
Survey Will Assist New Group Looking for IT Solutions
Various businesses, in collaboration with the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce, have gotten together to address present and future communications/internet needs in our community. Your answers will help us meet those needs. That’s why the survey asks for contact information.
The core team include Rob Nicoson, unit head of the Information Management office at Mayo Clinic; Chris Pierce of US Bank; Brian Sokoloski of Kahler Auctomantion; Steve Pierce, CPA; Larry Cain of Rosen’s Inc.; Roman Johnson of Avery Weigh-Tronix; and Bryan Wilkins of Bank Midwest.
The intent is to take information provided in the survey and work with the city, local government and vendors. Vendors include Frontier, Midcontinent and Bevcomm. (See September 29th article in the Fairmont Sentinel.)
