Reminder: Return Your Completed 2010 Census Form Before April 1, 2010!!!

Sometime this month, each household in the US will receive a 2010 Census form. It is especially important that you complete this form, as Census data aids in determining both governmental and educational funding at the local, state and federal levels. Urgent Request: Congressman Walz seeking input regarding disbursement of Federal Funding (pdf)

The City of Fairmont has applied for federal funding in the amount of $15 million to aid in the construction of a new water treament facility. Please provide your input and support to Congressman Walz regarding this project. Based on the input received, Congressman Walz will make his recommendations of projects to receive funding. Comments are due by Thursday, March 11 at 5:00 pm. Click on the link above for further information and for instructions on how to contact the Congressman.
