Housing & Redevelopment Authority

The Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is a municipal organization created by the city under state legislation. The HRA is directed by a five-member Board of Commissioners, all local citizens, appointed by the mayor to five-year terms.

The primary goals of the HRA are to provide and encourage decent, safe, and affordable housing for all citizens. The HRA Board administers and determines eligibility of local and federal funded housing assistance programs.
