Master Electrician
Salary Range: $41.88/hour – $52.99/hour, DOQ

The City of Fairmont is looking for a Master Electrician. Under the general supervision of the Electric Distribution Superintendent, the Master Electrician will mainly be responsible for performing a variety of skilled work in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment, controls, and communications. The typical work schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Other hours and call duty may be required as assigned.
Qualifications for this position include the possession of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a Master Electrician License. Preferred qualifications include MnDOT Traffic Signal and Lighting Certification, IMSA Work Zone Safety and Traffic Signal Systems Certification, and a two-year degree in an electrical or electronics-related field.
