The City of Fairmont Park Department would like to invite you to our annual Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, April 25th, 2025 at 1:30 pm Bird Point Park, 591 Woodland Avenue, east of Bird bridge. City staff will be planting an Elizabeth Magnolia tree and a Minnesota Strain Redbud tree. In case of inclement weather, the Park Department would plant the tree at later date. Should anyone have questions, please contact City Hall.
Please take notice that a majority of the Fairmont City Council members may be present at the Blue Earth Avenue Community Engagement Session, scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm in Room 012 of the Southern Minnesota Educational Campus (115 S. Park Street, Fairmont: Please use the south entrance for direct access to the meeting room). City Staff and Bolton & Menk will provide a visual representation of the project for those in attendance. For those unable to attend a survey, along with a visual representation of the project, will be available for citizens to submit before the final Community Engagement report is completed.
